What You'll Do
As a Senior Android Developer, you will play a key role in building a best-in-class, custom Android application leveraging native Android capabilities. You will work within a collaborative, cross-functional environment that combines agile delivery, continuous innovation, and user experience design.
  • Augment hands-on development of a high-quality native Android application to incorporate new features and functionalities to the existing production instance.
  • Rapidly prototype and integrate native Android features to optimize user experience and drive revenue.
  • Collaborate across Android, iOS, and Web teams to ensure technical cohesion and a unified customer experience.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Engage directly with clients, engineers, designers, and QA teams to shape product capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal stakeholders and client developers, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
What You’ll Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in technical consulting or software engineering, ideally in client-facing, project-based environments.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Android mobile development experience with a strong portfolio of native applications.
  • Deep expertise of Kotlin, with demonstrated experience in building scalable, maintainable Android apps.
  • Familiarity with AR/VR development tools and frameworks such as ARCore and the Camera
  • Proficiency in:
    • RESTful API integrations
    • State management and data persistence
    • Responsive UI development
    • Code quality and testing frameworks
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to prototype complex solutions.
  • Consultative mindset and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves)
  • Experience building e-commerce solutions to drive revenue.
  • Exposure to iOS development environments and ability to support adjacent platform teams.
  • General awareness of web development principles to ensure a cohesive cross-platform experience.
