We are seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist to join our Corporate Services team as a fulltime employee where you will serve as the primary HR contact for our employees.  This role will oversee key HR functions, including HRIS management, payroll processing, benefits administration and new hire orientation, while fostering a positive and engaging employee experience. 


Location:  Atlanta, GA based position; Will be onsite for first 90 days and then Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)


What You’ll Do
  • Act as the primary HR contact for employees, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain the HRIS system, ensuring accurate employee data and records.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time, with preference for candidates experienced in ADP systems.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and annual open enrollment.
  • Conduct comprehensive new hire orientation to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Promote and uphold the company’s values, ensuring alignment between organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support HR strategies that enhance employee satisfaction and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Support other HR functions and projects as needed.

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.  A relevant combination of education and hands on experience in a related field will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with demonstrated ability in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Familiar with HR Regulatory compliance to include FMLA, ADA, Title VII, ADEA and HIPPA
  • Strong understanding of HRIS systems and data management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with ADP systems strongly preferred.
